Canoeing in Small Danube

The rivers Little Danube (155 km) and Mosoni Danube (105 km) are two long arms of the Danube between Bratislava and Budapest. They are very similar. Clean water, lively stream, lush vegetation reminiscent of those in the jungle, where the turtles, wild ducks, water fountains, divers and herons have found their home. Gravel beaches, many romantic corners, water mills. The canoe trip on both rivers is an excursion into the world of silence, love and cosiness. It conveys a close contact with unconquered nature.

"My ideas were very different. I did not believe that such a natural paradise is only 60 km from Vienna, "said the canoeist Uta Leutner from Vienna. Our boats are tube canoes. They are very stable and comfortable. So our canoe tours are also suitable for total beginners. We stay in a nice guesthouse in Halszi (Hungary), which is located on the banks of the Mosoni Danube. Transfer to and from rivers is provided by our minibus.

Tour plan (weekend):

Friday: Arrival to Tomasov, accommodation in Pension.

Saturday: Canoe trip from Tomasov to Jelka (22 km)

Sunday: Jelka to Potonske Luky (18km)
