SKI TOURING, SKI MOUNTENEERING

Carpathian mountains are one of the prime destinations for ski touring in Europe. Slovak most steaper part of the mountain range is unique adventure experience on back country ski. Slovak mountain ranges of Fatras and Tatras provide good snow conditions stuning nature and steap rides.  Skitouring in Slovakia is on the rise. In recent 20 years Slovaks have beed ski-touring champions in many respects always competing withtop of the worlds back country ski  italian champions. The conditions for alpine ski touring in Slovakia are just perfect. The best timing is February  to April as the sunheats up and avalanches are not so high danger . Our experienced guides will lead you through the most beautiful moutain ridges with stuning views, reaching peaks and advanterous long freerides back to vallyes. Typical ski touring day in Slovakia will take 3hours up hill (with 400 - 1000 altitude differece) 2 hours enjyonment of silence nature and great views and 1 hour great freeride back in the valley.  You will stay both in high altitude mountain huts eg. Zbojnicka chata 1980m but also in confortable hotels or guesthouses  throut out our wonderfull week out there. You will not only experience skitouring but also culture, regional food and drink tasting and entertainment.

One of the best skitouring regions are ziarska dolina in westtaras, mengosovska and studena dolina in hightatras and dumbier part of low tatras, which both location are part of our week TATRA TOUR. Our tours difficulity gradient is about easy to medium. All steap rides will be in diffuculity in between S1/E1 to S4/E3 Both Avalancheand health safety are on first place. Good sport condition and equipmemnt is required.
